SIGNALMENT: Seven-year-old male Border Collie mix.

HISTORY: Respiratory distress noted in 2/98 and pharyngeal mucocele (Rt. side)
marsupialized. Recurrence of mild respiratory distress after strenuous
exercise noted 4 months postoperatively. Physical examination found recurrent
right pharyngeal mucocele.

TREATMENT: Sialadenectomy of the right mandibular and sublingual salivary glands
plus marsupialization. (See Figure 2)
